Local home repair & maintenance by Jack Kelly
The list on your fridge, done this Saturday.
I'm Jack Kelly. I do the small repairs and upkeep that never quite make it to the top of the list, at a price I tell you before I start.

$50 minimum. Most jobs are done in one visit. Texts get answered faster than calls, because I am usually on a ladder.

$50 / hour
1-hour minimum, then by the half hour.
If it is on your list, I can probably do it. Bring me a pile of small jobs and I will work straight through them.
- Build shelves
- Assemble furniture
- Hang pictures and mirrors
- Move furniture and boxes
- Change hard-to-reach lightbulbs
- Small house repairs
- Move items in or out of storage (I have a truck)
- Gutters cleaned out
- Yard cleanup, mulch and pine straw
- Anything else on your list
Everything on this list, in one visit, for one price. It is built for anyone with a pile of small things they have been meaning to handle: busy families, retirees, and landlords between tenants.
- Replace air filters
- Replace hard-to-reach bulbs
- Fresh smoke and CO batteries
- Tighten loose door handles
- Tighten hinges and cabinet knobs
- Tighten toilet seats
- Clear dryer vent
- Flush disposal
- Check caulk lines
- Touch up minor caulk
- Reset tripped GFCIs
- Leave a written list of anything else that needs attention
Ask about the quarterly plan: the same visit four times a year at $89 each, so filters and smoke alarms never get forgotten again.

Jack put together my dresser and nightstand set for me. He was on time, super friendly, professional, and got the job done fast! He even anchored it to the wall so that the dresser wouldn't be unstable around my young kids. I would highly recommend Jack for any service you may need.

How it works
- 1. Text a photoSend a picture and a sentence about what you need. That is usually all it takes.
- 2. Get a clear priceFor most jobs I can quote it without making you schedule an estimate first, usually within the hour.
- 3. Pick a timeWeekday evenings and weekends, so you can actually be home. I text before I come, and you pay when it is finished: card, Apple Pay or Venmo.
Book a job
Fill this in and tap the button. It opens a text to me with the details already written, so you can add photos before you send it. Nothing is submitted anywhere until you press send.

This code points at punchlisthome.com/#book, so it works on the door hangers, the cards and a yard sign.
I am new, and I am not going to pretend otherwise.
Punchlist Home Co. is just getting started in Auburn. That means you get somebody who shows up on time and answers, because I cannot afford not to. If I do work for you, a Google review is the only advertising I have, and I would be grateful for one.
$25 off your next visit for every neighbor who books and gives your name.
What I don't do
- Electrical panels, new circuits, or anything needing a permit
- Plumbing inside a wall, and no gas lines
- Roofs
- HVAC repair
- Jobs over $5,000, which in Alabama belong to a licensed home builder
If your job is on that list I will say so and point you to somebody licensed for it. That is faster for you and it keeps me honest.
